Llethr Llestri Farmhouse

Llethr Llestri Farmhouse is a substantial farmhouse near Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire, set in grounds, with a number of important stone built barns. The house and barns had fallen into a state of severe disrepair and subjected to unsympathetic alterations in the twentieth century.

We were engaged to prepare and submit a Planning and Listed Building Consent application for the refurbishment and extension of the farmhouse (creating a conservatory in the form of the historic glasshouse / potting shed), including restoring the lost decorative interiors in the principal rooms. Applications were successful and repairs are underway.

We have also been commissioned to design three barn conversions within the grounds for the owner's family.
